Belle died needlessly because of driver inattention. I miss her a lot, and often think ‘what would Belle do?’ She may be dead, but she is not done. Her death sparked an awareness campaign that we will continue as long as we need to. ‘Belle Bows’ are a visible reminder to other motorists to pay attention.

As the annual day of mourning closes in again, I remember you everyday. Your team will gather again this year privately and recall how important you are everyday and the lessons you taught us. RIP my dear Belle.
